The mako is the great white of the open seas and it is out there on it’s terms that we free dive with them, no cages, no chain mail suits just a healthy respect and an opportunity to briefly glimpse into the life of these beautiful cobalt blue warriors. Our success rate is around 85% in seeing sharks on these pelagic trips, either blues or makos, and on many trips we also free dive with huge yellowfin tuna and other species while in the company of the sharks |

The offshore waters off Cape Point offer some of the best one day pelagic birding in the world. We dedicate our time to looking for the large trawlers which trawl up to 30 miles off shore. These trawlers attract thousands of birds and for the serious birder we would recommend one of our exclusive pelagic bird expeditions which cater for small groups of dedicated avian enthusiasts. |
