Although we are a small operation we are a team of very passionate shark lovers and our goal is not only to provide the best Great white shark experience to our guests but also to make the very most of being privileged to work with sharks and enjoy and appreciate every moment at sea.
We have facilitated over 40 documentaries and complete our 1100 th trip to Seal Island during the 2008 season. This experience has helped us understand and predict shark behaviour and shark habits at Seal Island. Our team's enthusiasm for the great white sharks will give you an opportunity to really get up close to the sharks and learn about these amazing creatures.

Chris and Monique Fallows: OWNERS
Chris and Monique are a dynamic husband and wife team. Chris discovered the shark behaviour at Seal Island in 1995 and they have 12 years work experience in the field. Chris also specialises in photographing sharks and many of his images are world famous.
Chris and Monique are not only passionate about sharks but all aspects of nature. With Chris and Monique as your hosts, guests are treated to expert knowledge about the area and other marine life.
It is unusual for shark diving owners to host trips but the opportunity to work with Great white sharks on a daily basis is to great to pass and Chris & Monique are able to host 85% of all trips. Monique also handles a large amount of the bookings. Her experience at sea is very advantageous in helping guests book according to what they are looking for from the experience.
Poenas: Skipper and Guide
Poenas is 29 years old and has spent most of his life near the ocean. His family has a long history with the local seine net (treknet) fishermen and he grew up on the beaches interacting with all types of marine life, ranging from a wide variety of fish to large sharks.
Poenas impresses team members and guests alike with his passion for the sea and his understanding of the need for conservation of sharks . This colourful character on the boat will amaze you with his knowledge and passion, as well as his trained eyes that never miss any action.
Crystal : Bookings and Admin
Crystal joined the team in March 2008 and is the manager of The Great White Shark Shop, our base in Simonstown. Not only is Crystal friendly and welcoming but she is very efficient at dealing with requests and bookings and no problem is too great for her to solve.
